Need help looking for a song?

I'm attempting to find a song possibly sung in the 80's-90's by a female artist. I thinks the lyrics so something like "this is the way the world keeps turning this is the way the world keeps spinning" This is part of the chorus and it has a lil bit quicker pace. If you listen to "Leona Lewis - Angel" I think part of her song about 50secs to 1min sounds similar to the song I'm looking for above (it has that type of rythem but not in todays pop style more 80-90's. Please helps it's driving me NUTS!!!!!!
