Does the name Melina have negative connotations?

Here's my problem. I love the names Melina (Ma LEE na), Milaina (Mi LAY na) and Milana (Mee LAH na), but I have recently discovered that "melena" is a medical term for black, tarry stools/ poop! Would a medical professional or anyone else associate any of these names with the medical term or is it enough that it would be spelled differently? I especially like the names that start with "Mila" because then we could use Mila for a nickname.
